India & Sri Lanka are approximately 30 km away from each other.

The patch of land that's between the two countries is called Adam's bridge (pictured).

It's a chain of limestone shoals between Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, off the southeastern coast of Tamil Nadu, India, and Mannar Island, off the northwestern coast of Sri Lanka. Geological evidence suggests that this bridge is a former land connection between India and Sri Lanka. For more info search Google.comcheck out my facebook pRofile also. facebook.com/thajux
