The phenomenal effects of green tea!!!!

Today, tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world, second only to water. It has been cultivated for centuries, beginning in India and China.

Despite the fact that green, black and oolong teas come from the leaves of Camellia sinensis plant, green tea leads in regard of health benefits!

Why don't other Chinese teas have similar health-giving properties?

What sets green tea apart is the way it is processed.

Green tea leaves are steamed, which prevents the oxidation of catechin polyphenols, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG).
