TARSIER FUN FACTS !!!


The Tarsier is a small species of primate that is found inhabiting the well-vegetated forests on a number of islands in south-east Asia.

The Tarsier has an unusually long anklebone which enables it to jump distances more than 40 times it's own body length.


Tarsiers known to have the largest eyes of any mammal in relation to their body size.

Each eye of the Tarsier is actually heavier than it's brain.

Tarsiers are able to turn their heads 180 degrees in both directions so that this primate can see behind it without moving it's body
