The smallest flowering plant in world is WOLFFIA RAFFAELESIA.
It is commonly called watermeal or duckweed. Its weight is equal to two grains of table salt. Its size is so small that if you tried to fill a thimble (very small protection wore on thumb) with them, it is estimated that you would need some 5000 plants! In the attached image every speck is an individual plant!!!!
