Origin of the name 'Bluetooth'.


Bluetooth is named after the King of
Denmark, called as Harald Bluetooth
( pic above).



Why only named after
Harald Bluetooth ?


Harald Bluetooth was the King of
Denmark in the 10th century. He
uniting Denmark with some parts of
Norway, and he also played a major
role in uniting Scandinavia.
So inventor compared the working of Bluetooth, connecting devices which
are closed together, to that of the King
Harald Bluetooth, who united Norway
and Denmark.
